Open Windows Explorer Then go to C:\ProgramFiles\Yahoo!\Messenger\StoredIM
Delete the newest dated file in there, This Should Fixed the problem
If that does not work Delete all the files in there
(You will lose any all you offline messages doing this)

Note: On some computers might be stored under Pager and not Messenger
C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Pager\StoredIM

Extra Info on Yahoo Messenger Offline messages
Messages are store in C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\StoredIM
Each Message is stored as a 1k file that are encoded these files look like this 000979800961.hst
